Denny Eckrich thrilled a standing room only crowd at the I-80 Speedway in
Greenwood, Nebraska on a special Thursday night show to take the win and the
$4,000 winner's share of the purse to kick off the O'Reilly MLRA Freedom
Tour Weekend.
MARSHALLTOWN, Iowa (July 2) –
Brian Blessington provided the excitement and Jeff Joldersma provided the
consistency. As a result, both went home winners Thursday night.

Using a turn three slide job on the 19th lap of the Herald and
Review 100 Shannon Babb of nearby Moweaqua, Ill. claimed his first UMP
DIRTcar Summer Nationals victory of 2009.

Michael Long took the lead early and ran away for the big payday at the 2nd
Annual Pepsi Liberty Cup during the Miller Lite IMCA Modified feature at Lee
County Speedway, Thursday.
ALLISON, Iowa (July 2) -
Polesitter Chad Simpson of Mount Vernon, Iowa, won in convincing fashion for
a Corn Belt Clash victory at Highway 3 Raceway. Simpson earned $2,000 for
his 25-lap victory on the first-year tour.

GREENWOOD, Neb. (July 2, 2009) –
Brian Brown picked off his first American Sprint Car Series feature win of
the year by topping Thursday night's 25-lap ASCS Midwest Region feature
event at Nebraska Raceway Park's I-80 Speedway.

the Springfield Raceway provided an excellent track surface and side by side

On the initial start of the Jim's AutoCare WISSOTA Street Stock feature Cory
Crapser jumped to the high side and made a charge to the front but after
losing bite in four came down the track bringing out the caution and a

On a monthly basis, Macon Speedway hosts a Kids Club meeting. In the June
meeting, kids from all around, sons and daughters of drivers or just fans,
began construction on box cars for the July meeting where they put the
finishing touches on them, showed them off and raced them in front of a
packed front stretch.

When the A Features rolled out at Lincoln County Raceway on June 27, it
seemed as though each feature tried to top the previous feature in the
ending.

After a two-week layoff due to weather, racing resumed at a hot and steamy
Hawkeye Downs Speedway with “ Yellowbook Mid-Season Championships” on Friday

For only the second time during the month of June, race fans were treated to
racing action this past Friday night from the Marshalltown Speedway.
McCOOK, NEBR (June 26) -
The heat races were nearly finished on June 26 at McCook Speedway when heavy
rain fell.
DAVENPORT, Ia. (June 26, 2009) –
Mid-Season Championships and one make-up feature from two weeks ago were on
tap Friday night at the Davenport Speedway. Between qualifying and features,
the 106 competitors on hand turned 250 laps of competition on the quarter
mile dirt oval.
OSBORN, MO (June 26) -
Officially Joey Saldana only led three times for three single laps on Friday
night in the Missouri High-Banked Nationals at U.S. 36 Raceway, but he
traded the top spot with Johnny Herrera countless times over the course of
the 40-lap event, sometimes
multiple times on the same lap, as the pair battled tooth and nail in heavy
lapped traffic on the high-banked bullring.

Knoxville Raceway celebrated its 56th Mid-Season Championships as Brian
Brown and Jonathon Cornell captured feature titles here on Saturday night.
The crowd was treated to near-perfect track conditions created by rain

Cody Clubb swept the 4 Cylinder Hornet division in front of a packed house
for the Jeff Perry Fan Appreciation Night on Saturday at La Salle Speedway.
