24 RACEWAY'S PRACTICE SESSIONS CANCELED OUT DUE to WEATHER -
CAR SHOW and OPENING DAY BOTH READY for APRIL 7
MOBERLY, MO. (April 1) - So 24 Raceway goes 0 for 4 on the practice days at the
Moberly track for the last 2 weekends. With next weekend's scheduled start to
the 2007 season, watch the website of www.24racewayinmoberly.com or call the
track at 660-269-9300 for info regarding the upcoming week as to announcements
that could include the possibility of a weeknight practice session.
The 2nd annual Saturday Show & Shine Car Show will preceed the planned Opening
Night at the track on April 7th, with a live remote from Moberly's KZZT-FM 105.5
on the grounds before the 2007 racing season begins. Entry fee is only $15 and
the first 50 entrants receive a plaque and Tee-shirt. Times for the car show are
from 10AM to 3PM and will be in the grass area on the south part of the track's
46 acre site, near the middle entrance off US Highway 24. Food & drinks will be
available for purchase during the car show, and drawings for door prizes will
take place throughout the day. Rain date will be the following Saturday April
14. Any questions regarding this car show, hosted by the Mid-Mo Cruisers Car

Saturday night will kick off the 2006 race season at 7pm with the beginning of
the points tally towards the Annual Season Championship for each of the five
classes. Dirt Track Racing at its Best begins at 7PM. Times and prices have
stayed the same: Gates will open at 4PM. A driver's meeting, followed by hot
laps, will start at 6PM. Ticket prices are $10 for adults and $5 for kids, ages
6 to 12. Five year olds and under are free. A pit pass will cost $22 per person.
So if you've been missing the action that has taken place on the high banks of
24 Raceway in Moberly, it all starts up again this season on Saturday night for
the five classes of A-modified, B-modified, Sportsman, Hobby Stock and 4
Cylinder Hornets. Bring the family out to enjoy it!
