B-MOD SHOOTOUT RESCHEDULED FOR SEPT. 27 AT 24 RACEWAY
by: Ron Lueck - 24 Raceway, Moberly, MOMOBERLY, MO (Sept 12) - The 6th
annual Moberly Motors B-modified Championship Shootout, sponsored by MHC
Kenworth of Columbia, that was scheduled for Sept 6 and then for Sept 13, at
24 Raceway, is now rescheduled to the final weekend of Sept 27. The rains
that have been in the North and NW part of Missouri all day long have washed
out any chance for preparing the racetrack surface for tomorrow night's
racing program. Next Saturday, September 20, in addition to the 360 Sprints,
the 2008 trophies will be presented at the intermission, to the top ten
finishers in points for each of the five classes of A-mods, Moberly Motors
B-modifieds, MFA Oil / Break Time Sportsman, Hobby Stocks, and 4 cyl.
Hornets for the season. The driver or car owner must be present to receive
their trophy.
NOTE: Admission tickets from last weekend, Sept. 6, will be good for
admission to either of the coming two weekends' racing events. The pit
passes from last week's rain-out will be treated the same way, good for pit
entry on either of the coming two weekends. Present your ticket stub from
last Saturday night's admission for getting in this week. They are numbered
and the range of those numbers purchased last week, are what will get the
ticket holder in this week.
UPCOMING EVENTS:
Sept 20 - 360 Fall Classic w/ Winged Outlaw Warriors' 360 cubic inch
Sprints, 360 cubic inch Moberly Motors B-modifieds and 360 cubic inch Hobby
