SPORTSMAN SPECIAL COMPETE FOR 25 LAPS AT 24 RACEWAY THIS
WEEKEND. ULMA RESCHEDULED.

MOBERLY, MO (April 22) - Next weekend on Saturday, April 25th, the Sportsman
class will get to compete for a 25 lap feature in their annual Sportsman
Special. It's 25 laps for the full body cars with few engine limits, and a
$400 prize to go to the winner with $300 to runner-up! Grandstand tickets
for this night are $12 for adults and free for kids 12 & under. Pit passes
will go for $25. Driver registration for the Sportsman class will be $40 for
track members and will include the pit pass. Non-members of 24 Raceway pay a
$50 entry. Pit gates open at 4pm. Joining the Sportsman Class will be the
other four classes of A-modifieds & B-modifieds, Hobby Stocks and the 4
Cylinder Hornets. Complete race results are available at

The Late Model Spring Challenge event, rained out last weekend, has been
rescheduled for May 9. First place will be paying $1000 to win in this ULMA
points event, sponsored by PepsiAmericas. "Dirt Track Racing at its Best"
begins at 7pm, with a short driver's meeting at 6pm, followed by hot laps at

info. The fast action will take place again on these high banks, east of
Moberly, Missouri on U.S. Highway 24 this coming Saturday. "Dirt Track
Racing at its Best" is back with grandstands open at 4pm this Saturday, the
25th of April at the high banks of 24 Raceway, Moberly. We're still saying
to "Dress warm, as it's still April out there in the evenings".
