JOIN IN WATCHING THE FASTEST FORTY LAPS AT THE FIRECRACKER
FORTY ON JULY 11TH AT 24 RACEWAY.

MOBERLY, MO (July 7) - The Oscar White Memorial is back for a 5th year with
the A-modifieds and the MLRA in the annual Firecracker Forty show, sponsored
this year by Lucas Oil Products this Saturday, July 11th. BOTH the A-mods
AND the LateModels of the Midwest Late Model Association with be competing
in two 40-lap features, with a big fireworks display following the final
race of the evening.
The A-mods will be competing for a $1000 first place prize money, while the
MLRA will be following their standard entry fee & payout and under their
rules listed on the website of www.mlraracing.com .
Car count on the MLRA is expected to be a good one due to the fact of this
being just about the only latemodel show running in the area on this night.
Admission for this coming Saturday night's special race is $18 to the
grandstand for adults, with kids, ages 12 & under admitted free. And then
stay to see the grand fireworks display afterwards, brought to you by J & M
Fireworks Displays of Yarmouth, Iowa. Hot laps start at 6:15 this coming
Saturday night following the 6 pm mandatory drivers' meeting, with the races
beginning at 7 pm. So, if you haven't seen enough fireworks by now, stick
around for this great show and then go to the infield for some close-up
viewing of these racecars, being made available a little longer, following
the fireworks!
Each race night, kids, ages 0 to 7 and 8 to 12, can enter a coloring of the
night's picture at the Junior Fan Club table for a chance to win prizes or
souvenior booth gift certificates, and likely a bicycle donated by a race
team of the night.
"Dirt Track Racing at its Best" will return once more on Saturday night,
July 11th to 24 Raceway. Joining the A-modifieds and LateModels will be the
Hobby Stocks and the 4 cylinder Hornets, both competing for season points in
their regular weekly racing series.

high banks, east of Moberly, Missouri on U.S. Highway 24 again this
Saturday.

Both the Pit entrance and the grandstands will once again open at 4 p.m. on
Saturday. Pit passes are $30 apiece. A-Modified entry fee is $70 for track
members and $90 for non-members, with both fees including a pit pass for the
driver.
