MOBERLY, MO (April 3) - Once again, the Friday rains have postphoned the weekend's practice session to now take place on Easter Sunday at Moberly's 24 Raceway. Gates will open at 11AM with the track available for practice time from 11:30 to dusk for qualified drivers of all classes with a $13 admission per person entering the pit area. A signed release will be mandatory. This practice includes all the classes that compete at 24 Raceway along with any late models, sprints and classic dwarf cars wishing to attend. Practice will be this Sunday at 24 Raceway during daytime hours only. General bleacher viewing is free, but concessions will be open only in the pit area. Both fuel and tires will be available at the track for the Sunday practice. The phone number at the track is 660-269-9300, for further questions And then, racing returns to 24 Raceway with the USMTS returning for Opening Night on April 10. The United States Modified Touring Series will feature those fast modifieds on the half mile dirt track just east of Moberly. Grandstand ticket prices for this Big event will be $15 with both pit and grandstand gates opening at 4pm. The five classes are set to start the 2010 season's racing at 24 Raceway. Rules are available on the web site of www.24racewayinmoberly.com under the forum section. Track memberships can be paid anytime during these two weekends with the forms being completed at the pit booth. And concrete pad rentals can also be reserved for the 2010 season on this practice weekend of April 3rd. There are still pad availabilities and are on the 1st come - 1st rented availabilty. A laminated and coded 2010 season pass to the bleachers for all scheduled 27 racing dates, is available at a $225 fee. And there is a text messaging service being made available to cell phone numbers, entered on the appropriate 24 Raceway form with the phone owner's signature attached. Ask at the pit booth for signing on for this service if you desire weather situations, cancelations and general track news, to come to you in a text message.

Remember, opening day is set for April 10th. Be there on Saturday evenings for racing at the high banked track of 24 Raceway, where there's "Dirt Track Racing at its Best" in Moberly.
