MOBERLY, MO (May 1) - Due to Friday's rain, the wet and the impending weather for Saturday afternoon, racing for this Saturday, May 1st at 24 Raceway is cancelled. Next Saturday will be the weekly racing series with the classes of A-mods, B-mods, Sportsman, Hobby Stock and the 4 cylinder Hornets racing once more for the season's points. After the feature races are completed, there will be a mechanic's race for the Hobby Stock class. Admission to the grandstand area will be $10 to see these classes that will be competing in "Dirt Track Racing at its Best" this weekend at 24 Raceway. Kids 12 and under are free to the grandstands. Pit passes will be $25. Racing starts at 7 p.m. with hot laps scheduled for 6:15, following the a short drivers' meeting at 6pm. You can navigate to 24 Raceway's results listing by clicking on the "home" page for Speednet, find 24 Raceway at the 3rd listing down, and following directions from there. This week, the mechanic's will get a chance to drive those Hobby Stocks as the regular drivers will trade off doing some required tire changing on the front stretch. Remember, the racing starts at 7pm. "Dirt Track Racing at its Best" is back with grandstands and pit gates both open at 4pm this coming Saturday at 24 Raceway, Moberly, Missouri.
