Pepsi USA Nationals Deery at 34 rescheduled for Sept. 28 WEST BURLINGTON, IA (Sept. 15) – The Pepsi USA Nationals Deery Brothers Summer Series event at 34 Raceway has been rescheduled for Sunday, Sept. 28. Rained out from Sept. 12-13, the final event in the 2008 tour for IMCA J & J Steel Late Models will pay $5,000 to win, $1,000 in lap money and a minimum of $250 to qualify. Twenty-six cars will comprise the starting field for the 50-lapper. Second place will pay $2,000, with $1,000 for third, $750 for fourth, $650 for fifth and $450 for sixth. Non-qualifiers get $75. Entry fee for the draw/re-draw show is $50 and all competitors must have a current 2008 IMCA license. Pit gates will open at 3:30 p.m. and the grandstand opens at 4 p.m. Hot laps are at 5:15 p.m. with the first heat race set for 6 p.m. Also on the Sunday show will be the $750 Ironman Challenge, open to all of the 17 drivers with perfect attendance through the series’ first 16 events.
