Coming Up Fourth of July weekend at 34 Raceway

BURLINGTON, IA (June 27, 2011) - Saturday, July 2  will be TA Auto & GTire/I-Wireless and Hot 97.3 KIDS NIGHT at 34 Raceway. Join us for lots of prize giveaways and fun. (It’s TA’s Birthday). J & J Steel/Ideal Ready Mix IMCA Late Models, W.T. Gabeline and Sons Trucking 305 Sprints, Miller Lite Modifieds, Mike’s Auto Parts IMCA Stock Cars and Pepsi Hobby Stocks will be in action.  Pit gates open at 4:30, grandstands 5, hot laps 6:30 and racing at 7. 

DIRTcar Summer Nationals Hell Tour coming to 34 Raceway July 4 BURLINGTON, IA – The DIRTcar Summer Nationals Hell Tour will be exploding at Burlington’s 34 Raceway on Monday, July 4. Experience the  ground shaking action as the high horsepowered late models take on the 3/8 mile aiming for the $5000 to win prize.

Through June 24, Scott James holds a five point lead over Shannon Babb in the series.  Top ten point leaders expected to compete along with James and Babb are, Jason Feger, Brian Shirley, Bryan Unzicker, Dennis Erb, Matt Miller, Brandon Sheppard, Dillon White, and Jeep Van Wormer.  Mark Burgtorf, Quincy, Il., as of June 24 results, holds down the thirteenth spot in the point battle.  The series has been drawing over 50 cars.

Support classes will include Louisa Communications/I-Wireless 4 Cylinders and the Holmes Concrete Mod Lites.

Pit gates will open at 3:00, Grandstand gates open at 4:00. Hot laps are at 6:00 and LM Time Trials start at 6:30. Racing action will begin at 7:00.
