Heavy Rain Pushes COMP Cams Topless 100 to Sunday
BATESVILLE, AR (August 19, 2017) – Tonight’s 25th Annual COMP Cams Topless 100 – Presented by Crop Production Services has been postponed.
Heavy rain drenched the 3/8-mile oval prior to the beginning of Saturday’s program. After several hours of attempting to prep the racing surface for safe competition, officials of Batesville Motor Speedway and the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series reached the agreement to postpone the event to Sunday, August 20th.
“The safety of our drivers and fans are a top priority,” said Mooney Starr, Batesville Motor Speedway Promoter. “We are looking forward to an exciting event on Sunday,” Starr added.
The General Admission and Pit Gates will open at 11:00am on Sunday, August 20th. A mandatory driver meeting will take place at 1:30pm, followed by racing at 2:00pm.
