Racing returns to normal at I-35 Speedway this Saturday, May 30.  Normal?  Yes, you know the brand, the exciting, door to door, nose to tail, late race passes for the win normal.  For three weeks we have been witnesses to the most exciting racing on Fridays and Saturdays.  This weekend it is Saturday only.

I-35 Speedway opened with Friday and Saturday races for the purpose of ensuring social distancing.  Bleachers have been dotted with orange paint to indicate 6 foot distancing, the upper grandstands were reserved for families who can sit together but must social distance from others, hand sanitizers were installed throughout the facility, signs are posted everywhere as a reminder of 6 foot social distancing, orange stripes have been painted for the pit check in and concession lines and grandstand check in and concessions, and everyone is highly encouraged to wear a mask.  Announcements are made throughout the night via the public address system to remind everyone to social distance. I-35 Speedway thanks everyone for utilizing the trash containers in this new “No Touch” world. These reminders should be followed for everyone’s safety and we request everyone’s assistance in protecting ourselves from this invisible enemy.

Racing starts at 7:00 P.M.  Pit gates open 3 hours before race time and the grandstands will open 30 minutes after the pit gates open. Admission prices are $15 for Adults, $12 for Seniors (62+) and Military, and Youth 18 and younger (ID may be requested) are Free (a weekly tradition)!
