MAQUOKETA, Ia. (June 7, 2020) – For one night only, Late Model stock cars are back at the Maquoketa Speedway. DRT TRAK Racing Inc. is bringing the Lucas Oil MLRA cars and stars back to the Jackson County Fairgrounds, on Saturday, June 13th.

This will be the second ever appearance of the MLRA series at the Maquoketa track. Nebraska racer Travis Dickes won the inaugural race in May of 2014.

Also racing will be Modifieds running for a top prize of $1,000-to-win, and SportMods racing for $500-to-win, 4-Stocks, and the American Iron Racing Series. There is no entry fee for the support classes.

The good news is that fans will be allowed in the grandstand at 50% capacity or less. DRT TRAK Racing Inc. encourages all our fans and competitors to practice social distancing, use hand sanitizer, and stay safe.

Start times for the MLRA race at Maquoketa are pits @ 4pm, grandstand @ 5pm, drivers meeting @ 6pm, hotlaps @ 6:30, with racing to follow.

On Sunday, June 14th, the racing action shifts over to the big half-mile West Liberty Raceway. Once again the Lucas Oil MLRA Late Models will be the featured class.  Modifieds ($1,000-to-win), SportMods ($500-to-win), and the American Iron Racing Series are the support classes.

Additional information, instructions, and procedures will be announced on the DRT TRAK Racing Inc. facebook page, and “drttrakracing.com”.
