Sprint Invaders help start busy period at Davenport Speedway
Davenport, Ia. (June 22, 2022) – Three nights of action in thirteen days will provide a variety of racing for fans at Davenport Speedway.
Sprint car racing returns to Davenport on Friday, June 24th. The Sprint Invaders join the weekly racing action. Weekly classes include Eriksen Chevrolet IMCA Modifieds, IMCA SportMods, Koehler Electric Street Stocks, and the QCJeeps.com Sport Compacts. Late Models will not be racing at Davenport this Friday. Special guest class for the evening is the Midwest Jalopies.
The racing program on July 1st, will include the American Iron Racing Series. These vintage looking racers carry stock car bodies from the 50’s, 60’s, and 70’s. All five weekly classes will be racing, including Late Models.
Wednesday, July 6th, the Lucas Oil Dirt Late Models series will visit Davenport Speedway. This is the first time the Lucas Oil series will stop at the Mississippi Valley Fairgrounds track since 2005. The Lucas Oil cars and stars will be joined on track by the Petersen Plumbing & Heating IMCA Late Models. IMCA SportMods will also be racing, with a $1,000-to-win.
