Independence sets $1,000 top prize for Modifieds on Aug. 6
INDEPENDENCE, Iowa – IMCA Modifieds race for a top check of $1,000 and a minimum of $200 to start the Monday, Aug. 6 special at Independence Motor Speedway.
IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing National, Belleville Motorsports North Central Region and Allstar Performance State points, but no local track points, will be awarded.
Entry fee is $50; Modified drivers competing that evening receive free admission into the pits.
Pit passes are $35. Spectator admission is $30 for adults and $15 for kids 12 and under.
Both pit gates and the grandstand open at 4 p.m. Hot laps are at 6:45 p.m. with racing to follow.
