LINCOLN, Neb. (April 23, 2012) – IMCA’s longest tenured sponsor reaches two more milestones with the sanctioning body this season.

Speedway Motors returns as title sponsor for the 30th annual Super Nationals, to be held Sept. 3-8. The premier dirt track racing event in the nation has brought 800-plus cars to Boone Speedway each of the last four years, including a record 843 last year.

The Lincoln, Neb., speed shop is also in its fifth year as title sponsor of the sanctioning organization’s weekly racing program and will provide promoter jackets and shirts, tech official shirts, flags and banners, among other items, to tracks crowning IMCA champions in 2012.

Registered rookies again receive $100 gift cards, T-shirt and special decal from Speedway Motors following their first feature win.

The highest finishing eligible driver in each IMCA Modified and IMCA Sunoco Stock Car region, and in national standings for Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMods and Smiley’s Racing Chassis Southern SportMods all receive a set of Tru-Coil springs.

In addition to competing with Tru-Coil springs during the regular point season, drivers are required to complete and return a signup form to the IMCA home office by Aug. 1; that form is included in the decal packet mailed after they purchase a new competitor’s license.

“The Speedway Motors program features something for everyone, from promoters to tech officials to racers. We receive a lot of interest in the rookie feature win program and that remains in place again this year,” IMCA Marketing Director Kevin Yoder said. “Make sure if it is your first year in a new IMCA division you register your rookie status, and then we wish you the best of luck in capturing your memorable first victory in 2012.”

This season marks Speedway Motors’ 60th year in business and its 33rd as a partner with IMCA.
