Wheatland, Missouri  (July 16th, 2013) – Today’s KTTS 94.7 Country’s Best is back again to host the Ozarks Food Harvest Food Drive at Lucas Oil Speedway. Saturday, July 20th, any General Admission ticket can be purchased with a simple donation of (4) non-perishable food items to the Ozarks Food Harvest! That’s right, thanks to our great friends at KTTS, you can bring your entire family for FREE to see the best weekly racing on dirt, the Lucas Oil Weekly Championship Series. Canned items, boxed goods, cereal, pasta, baking mixes, etc. will all be accepted to help fight hunger in the Ozarks.

KTTS will have your favorite radio personalities on hand to meet and greet at the front gate and is dedicated to surpassing last years donation of nearly 8,000 pounds of food. Help Lucas Oil Speedway, KTTS and the Ozarks Food Harvest reach our goal of 10,000 pounds of food on Saturday night, by picking up a few extra items on your weekly trip to the grocery store. The Ozarks Food Harvest works with countless food pantries throughout the region to provide support and food to our community. Hickory County CARES Food Pantry benefits from weekly deliveries by Ozarks Food Harvest.

The Lucas Oil Weekly Championship Series enters the second half of the season with a tight points battle in both the Tri-Lakes RV B-Mods and the Pitts Homes USRA Modifieds. Kris Jackson remains out in front by only 8 points over Ryan Edde in the B-Mods. In the Pitts Homes USRA Modifieds, Terry Schultz holds a margin of only 18 points over Jon Sheets. Schultz also continues to hold the top spot in National USRA points. Jason Russell is atop the ALPS Food Stores ULMA standings and the overall ULMA Points. Congrats to both Russell and Shultz for holding those ranks with each respective sanction. The Carson’s Corner NAPA Factory Stocks class continues to be one of the most exciting classes to watch each week. Brian Schutt leads the points over Johnny Coats and Marc Carter. Don’t miss a minute of the action as drivers race into the heat of the summer!
