Lee County Speedway Looks to Swing Back Into Action This Friday

Donnellson, IA (July 29, 2013) – After mother nature forced the Lee County Speedway in Donnellson, IA to cancel last weeks racing action, the track looks to get back to action this coming Friday, August 2nd. This week will be Trump Trucks of Kahoka, MO Night at the races, presented by Hy-Vee of Fort Madison, IA and Keokuk, IA and Miller Lite.
This will be the final week for drivers to gain valuable points before season championship night, as the track will take Friday, August 9th and 16th off. All five weekly classes have close points battles going to see who will be crowned 2013 champions.
For all you adults out there who enjoy drinking adult beverages, the Lee County Fair board will be holding $1.50 beer and $3.00 margarita specials all night. But we ask if you wish to drink, please be responsible and have a designated driver!
In action on the night will be the Budweiser IMCA Modifieds, Donnellson Tire IMCA Stock Cars, Shottenkirk Parts Express IMCA SportMods, Coor’s Light IMCA Hobby Stocks, and Suline Auto Parts Sport Compacts. The Coor’s Light IMCA Hobby Stocks will use a draw / redraw format for this weeks racing action. Remember there are no entry fees or track registration fees required to race.
Gates will open at 5:30 pm, hot laps at 7:00 pm, and racing at 7:30 pm. Grandstand admission will be adults $10, seniors $9, students 7-17 $5, and kids 6 & under FREE! Pit passes will be $25, ages 7-13 $15, and ages 6 & under $10.
