The Hell Tour Coming to Quincy Raceways

QUINCY, IL (May 17, 2012) – Quincy Racewaysis proud to announce that the UMP Summer Nationals, fondly referred to as the “Hell Tour” will be returning to the Broadway Bull Ring on Friday July 6.
The winner’s portion of the $21,350 A-Main purse will be a whopping $7500 for the forty lap event, the second largest ever atQuincyRaceways. Arguably the most popular late model series in the Midwest, the UMP Summernationals will be back at the Bullring on July 6, the final stop inIllinoisfor the tour that will wind through eight states and see 29 races in 32 days, the most demanding grind in all of motorsports.
The Summernationals kick off June 13 inBrownstown,Ind., just outsideIndianapolis, and conclude July 14 inWauseon,Ohio. The previous winners of the Summernational races atQuincy Racewaysinclude the defending Champion, Shannon Babb who has two victories, Rand Korte, and Jeep VanWormer.
The UMP Modifieds and the Quincy Hobby Stocks will be joining the Hell Tour for this event with the Modified portion being part of the Summit DirtCar Modified Summernationals as well. There will be more details announced for the support divisions as it becomes available.
