Chris Spieker was honored as the Dodge Late Model champion for the 4th time in the last 5 years. His season was highlighted by 6 weekly event wins as well as the winner in the WDRL race held on Memorial Day weekend. By far the most challenged championship it came down to the final corner 3 times on the last night. As the field came to the checkered on the final night, Matt Hudson was in position to take the title, but a caution flag flew, giving a green-white-checkered finish. On that attempt, Les Helvie was in position for the championship until a caution flew again. On the final attempt, Tull had worked back from early race trouble to be able to get enough positions to take the title. Rounding out the top 15 in points were Helvie, Hudson, Jerry Parker, Steve Churchill, Kevin Yearington, David Weeda, Les Elliott, Jason Parker, Clint Dredge, Brad Bergren, Jesse Sobbing, Jeremy Swanson, Joshua Sink and Cody Luther.
