Ritterbusch, Mueller, Zadina, and Parker top Adams County Speedway features

CORNING, IA. (July 15, 2006) - It was a very hot night for Dodge night and the NASCAR Dodge Weekly Series at the Adams County Speedway, and that was just the action on the track. Karl Ritterbusch, Dan Mueller, and Joe Zadina all grabbed their third wins of the season while Jerry Parker was a winner for the second time.

Jerry Parker grabbed the lead from the front row of the NAPA hobby stock feature and never gave up the lead. Ryan Vicker was the closest pursuer but Parker was able to gradually pull away to score the win with Vicker, Jim Tull, Jason Parker and Chris Vannausdle rounding out the top five.

Greg Miller shot into the early lead of the Northland Oil pro street feature with Ron Ballinger applying heavy pressure. Miller was up to that challenge, but just past the midway point, Joe Zadina and Mike Garner moved from their sixth row starting spots to take over the top two positions. Zadina went on to score the win with Garner, Ballinger, Miller and Rick Pitzer rounding out the top five.

The Budweiser modified feature provided the most on track excitement and action for the night with Chris Hogan taking early command of the feature. Hogan’s lead would only last until Jerry Carlson charged up to take the spot on lap 4. Carlson then held off the persistent pressure of Dan Mueller to cross the line first, but Carlson failed to make minimum weight after the feature, giving the win to Mueller. Brian Foote, Todd Van Eaton, Hogan and Russell Stewart rounded out the top five.

Troy McKee raced into the early lead of the Dodge late model feature with Karl Ritterbusch close behind. Ritterbusch would take the spot on lap 3. Chris Spieker would come to challenge for the lead with Jason O’Brien, Joe Kosiski and Bryant Goldsmith locked into a battle for the third spot. Spieker worked into the lead with only a few laps to go, but then went too high exiting turn two a few laps later, giving the lead back to Ritterbusch. Ritterbusch held on for the win with Spieker, Kosiski, Goldsmith, and O’Brien rounding out the top five.
