Rain wins AGAIN at Adams County Speedway CORNING, IA (June 21) - For the eighth time in eleven tries Mother Nature won out in the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series at the Adams County Speedway. As drivers ran their hot lap sessions, officials kept an eye on the sky with an approaching thunderstorm aiming right at the speedway. When it became evident that the storm would not diminish or miss the track, the night’s action was called off. Crews loaded their cars as small hail pounded down. On June 28th, it will be Whelen night with our annual fireworks after the racing action. Fans from June 21st will be admitted free with their rain checks. An announcement about the Cellular 29 Plus/Lyrix Wireless kid’s money grab will be made later in the week and posted at www.acspeedway.com Join us next week for the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series with more great action of the Whelen late models, Budweiser modifieds, Northland Oil pro streets, and NAPA hobby stocks.
