Flood waters again pour into Adams County Speedway CORNING, IA (July 25) - For the second time in 7 weeks, massive amounts of rain dumped around Corning and by mid-afternoon on Thursday, the Adams County Speedway was back under water. The NASCAR Whelen All-American Series will lose its ninth race of sixteen scheduled so far this season. The season now shifts to the Chase for the Championship with Paul Glendenning, Dan Mueller, Greg Miller and Matt Hudson leading their respective divisions heading into the final six races. The schedule of events will be altered with Iowa State Savings Bank presenting ISSBee night along with kid’s bike races moved to August 2nd. The Diamond Oil/Sunoco/Ironman Racing king of the hill races will begin with the NAPA hobby stocks on August 9th. Admission is $10 for adults, $5 for students, and 12 and under are free.
