O’Reilly MSRA Set For Topless Doubleheader
BEEBE, Arkansas (August 18) – The stars and cars of the O’Reilly MSRA Super
Late Model tour are set to have two huge events this weekend as they go
“Topless”.
With the first fourteen events of the 2009 season in the history book, ten
different drivers have found their way into victory lane including Billy
Moyer Jr., Kyle Beard, Wendell Wallace, Kevin Sitton, Bill Frye, Michael
Murphree, Jon Kirby, Billy Moyer, Billy James, and Eric Turner with Moyer
Jr., Frye, and Wallace each finding victory lane on two separate occasions.
Billy Moyer Jr. from Batesville, Arkansas, leads the O’Reilly MSRA standings
with an 80 point lead over second place and will be looking to build on his
point’s advantage this Friday.
Behind the point’s leader, the battle continues to heat up for the top five
positions in the current tour standings. Kyle Beard (Arkansas), Jeff Floyd
(Arkansas), Jon Kirby (Arkansas), and Jon Mitchell (Texas), and round out
the top five in the latest points as the series continues to enjoy its most
competitive season in its history.
The 2009 Kuntz & Co. Rookie of the Year standings continues to be led by
Gary Scott Christian from Broken Bow, Oklahoma. Austin Rettig (Missouri) and
Michael Murphree (Arkansas) round out the current standings in the Kuntz &
Co. RoY chase.
Over the course of this weekend the top five drivers in the current O’Reilly
MSRA standings and the Kuntz and Company Rookie of the Year candidates will
be joined by a strong contingent of competitors including Dewaine Hottinger
(Arkansas), Joey Mack (Missouri), Randy Mitchell (Oklahoma), Todd Hall
(Missouri), Ray Moore (Louisiana), Ross Camponovo (Mississippi), Clay Fisher
(Arkansas), and many more.
This Friday, August 21st the tour will make their third visit of 2009 to
Beebe Speedway in Beebe, Arkansas for the All American Motor Company 30. The
first two O’Reilly MSRA events held at Beebe Speedway have gone caution free
with great racing. Wendell Wallace and Jon Kirby have each picked up
victories at the ¼ mile oval this season. This Friday’s event will be
highlighted by a $2,000 to win/$300 to start, 30 lap event. The gates are
slated to open at 5:00pm with hot laps at 7:00 and racing action slated for

On Saturday night, August 22nd, the O’Reilly MSRA tour will make their only
appearance of 2009 at the semi-banked, ¼ mile at Greenville Speedway in
Greenville, Mississippi for the Topless 40. The racing program will feature
heat races, b-mains, and a 40 lap feature event, which will pay $2,000 to
win and $450 to start.
