Dewaine Hottinger Snares Pair of Top Ten Finishes 

RUSSELLVILLE, ARK (April 13) - Dewaine Hottinger from Russellville, Arkansas was in action over the weekend in his #65 Doug’s Electrical/Rocket/Hatfield Racing Engine Super Late Model and recorded a pair of top ten finishes to show for his efforts. 

Hott Motorsports entered a pair of COMP Cams MSRA Super Late Model events over the weekend. On Friday night, Dewaine was in action at Beebe Speedway in Beebe, Arkansas in a $2,000 to win event.  Via heat race action, Hottinger locked into the ninth starting spot for the feature event.  However, on a track surface that lended itself to little passing, Dewaine would only manage to race his way to a ninth place finish. 

On Saturday night, the team traveled to the 1/4 mile, Riverside International Speedway in West Memphis, Arkansas, where he entered another $2,000 to win event. Twenty-five Super Late Models signed in for battle, and Hottinger locked into the 8th starting spot for the main event.  The race got off to a rough start for Hottinger as contact from another competitor cut down one of his rear tires forcing him to bring out the caution on lap three.  He would head pitside for fresh rubber before rejoining the tail of the field. Over the remainder of the event, he would rebound to a 10th place finish. 

Hott Motorsports will take the upcoming weekend off from racing before returning to action on April 23^rd – 24^th.  On Friday, April 23^rd the team will enter the Mid America Racing Series (M.A.R.S.) event at Outlaw Motor Speedway in Muskogee, Oklahoma for a $3,000 to win event.  Saturday, April 24^th, will find the team traveling to I-30 Speedway in Little Rock, Arkansas for a $2,000 to win event, which will be sanctioned by the COMP Cams MSRA Super Late Model tour.  For more information on the events, please visit www.DLRA.net and www.MSRADirt.com .
