www.OskyChallenges.com Goes Online!

(Bill W) June 8, 2009 – McTwo Promotions is proud to announce the launch of www.OskyChallenges.com!  The site is dedicated to two of the most popular racing events on the calendar, the Musco Lighting Front Row Challenge, and the Searsboro Telephone Ultimate Challenge.  Both events are held at the Southern Iowa Speedway in Oskaloosa, Iowa.

“I’ve been thinking about getting things online with a website like this, and with the help of www.DriverWebsites.com, we’ve got it!” says promoter Terry McCarl.  “We want to get as much information out to the fans, as well as adding a historical element to the events.  We want to make it as easy as possible for the race fan, and I think we have it with www.OskyChallenges.com.  We’ll always be adding to it, so check back often!”

The events, along with the Nationals events at Knoxville are a vital part of Southern Iowa Sprintweek.  “We think we offer a great event for people of all ages, without raising the prices every year,” says McCarl.  “We always have plenty of giveaways for the kids, and try to make an ‘event’

out of it.  We want these races to be an ideal retreat for any race fan, and we do our best to make this thing bigger and better every year!”

The 14th Annual Musco Lighting Front Row Challenge has quickly become one of the “must see” events on any race fans calendar, and will take place this year on August 10.  Entertainment, as well as great racing is always a part of the “FRC”, and this year the winner’s share will be upped to $10,000!

Daryn Pittman won last year’s edition, ahead of Tyler Walker, Tim Kaeding, Roger Crockett and Jason Solwold.  You know the field will include the best in the sprint car business again this year, especially with the winner’s share upped to 10K!  The All Star Circuit of Champions will sanction this year’s edition, assuring a solid field of cars again.

Usually fans’ eyes are focused on the rear of the field to see if anyone can claim the Front Row Challenge and $50,000 to win from the tail!

The best drivers in the “traditional” non-wing sprint car world battle it out in a “One night stand for 15 grand!” on Tuesday, August 11.  The event will be again be sanctioned by USAC, ensuring that the best drivers in non-wing sprint car racing will be on hand.  Last year’s event was won by Dave Darland, and he was followed to the line by Kevin Swindell, Jerry Coons Jr., Cole Whitt and Hunter Schuerenberg.  Darland paired with car owner Scott Benic, who has fielded three winning cars in the UC (also for Boston Reid and Levin Jones).  They are expected back to defend their title.  The action is always intense from the first green thrown to the last checkered flag at the Ultimate Challenge!

“We’re excited about USAC being a part of this event,” says McCarl.  “You can’t beat the winner’s paycheck, that’s for sure!  Having Tony Stewart and Kasey Kahne bring their race teams is huge for us.  There should be an impressive field of cars here!  You never know who is going to rise to the top in this thing.  We have a different winner every year it seems.”
