final apperance of the big body dirt late models at the Mountain-Dew Bloomfield
Speedway and the fourteen cars put on a thrilling show with Rickey Frankel of
Quincy,IL. looking to have his first ever feature win in the bag but the caution
flag would spoil the run to the checkers with Tommy Elston of Keokuk taking
advantage of the yellow and on the restart took the lead into turns one and two
and never looked back and lead the final nine laps for the win. Frankel took the
runner-up spot with Paul Glenndenning of Mt.Ayr taking third and another Quincy
cracking into the fourth spot was Justin Reed.

This feature went green to checkered for the second straight week with some exciting door-to-door action.
The Kirkland Auto USRA Hobby Stock feature saw Wade Francis of Eddyville take the race lead with Mark Moore of Ottumwa running second but the two drivers that battle form the back was Nathan Wood of Keswick and last weeks feature winner Ben Jones of Williamsburg both working the highside and lowside of the track to pass cars to battle for the race leader Francis. Jones would make the pass with Wood running a close second with Francis getting shuffled back to third and Jim Walker of Mystic and Mike Shelton of Ottumwa battling for the fourth spot along with Ray Lasser Jr. of Ottumwa mking for a good three car battle for the fourth and fifth position. Rachels would take the second spot and tried several times to put pressure on leader Robinson but Robinson would cross the line .656 second ahead of Rachels who settled for second with Michael McClure taking third and Mike Harward of Floris in fourth.
In the Spilman Auto Parts USRA Modified feature current point leader Dennis Elliott lead the field to the green flag with Jim Redmann of Lockridge running second with Jerry Pilcher in third. Elliott would lead the first six laps before Michael Long of Quincy,IL. worked his way from the tenth starting spot and passed Elliot off turn two. Long would take the win his first at the Mountain-dew Bloomfield Speedway and third of the year. The battle for the the second, third and fourth spot heated up with only three laps remaining Elliot and Pilcher would go wheel-to-wheel into turns one and two with Elliott making the pass with Brandon Banks of Washington following Elliott on the bottomside of the track and secure the second and third spot and when the checkers flew Elliott would cross the line in second with Banks in third and Pilcher in fourth.
