TRIPLEHEADER ON TAP APRIL 20-22 FOR O’REILLY USMTS

BLOOMFIELD, Iowa (April 16) -- After earlier failed attempts due to intervention
from Mother Nature, O’Reilly Auto Parts United States Modified Touring Series
fans look like they will finally get a chance this weekend as the Mountain Dew
Bloomfield (Iowa) Speedway and the Pepsi Scotland County Speedway in Memphis,
Mo., will host the 2nd Annual Iowa-Missouri Border War this Friday and Saturday,
April 20-21. From there, the O’Reilly USMTS road warriors head to the I-70
Speedway Dirt Track for the inaugural event at the historic facility in Odessa,
Mo., on Sunday, April 22.
All three events were rained out earlier this month, but the weather forecast
for this weekend looks sunny and bright so plan to wind ’em up and let ’em eat.
Mountain Dew Bloomfield Speedway: Friday’s event will also be the first track
points night for the USRA Casey’s General Stores Weekly Racing Series featuring
USRA Stock Cars, USRA B-Mods, USRA Hobby Stocks and Hornets. Gates will open at
5 p.m., with hot laps at 6:30 and racing at 7. Grandstand admission will be $15
for adults, kids ages 6-12 are $5 and children 5 and under get in for FREE. Pit
passes will be $25.

located 1.0 mile west of Bloomfield on US 63/SR 2, then 0.8 mile north on CR J40
(at the Davis County Fairgrounds).
Pepsi Scotland County Speedway: Saturday’s event will also be the first track
points night for the USRA Casey’s General Stores Weekly Racing Series featuring
USRA Stock Cars, USRA B-Mods, USRA Hobby Stocks, Outlaw Hobbys and Hornets.
Gates will open at 4 p.m., with hot laps at 6 and racing at 6:30. Grandstand
admission will be $15 for adults, kids ages 6-12 are $5 and children 5 and under
get in for FREE. Pit passes will be $25.

located 1.0 mile west of Memphis on US 136 to SR 15, then east (at the Scotland
County Fairgrounds).
I-70 Speedway Dirt Track: Sunday’s event will mark the first event at the new
3/8-mile semi-banked dirt oval adjacent to the historic half-mile asphalt oval.
A full program of Stock Cars and B-Mods will round out Sunday’s divisional
line-up. Gates will open at 3 p.m., hot laps are set for 5:30 and the first
green flag is scheduled to wave at 6. Adult tickets are $15, kids ages 6-12 are
$5 and children under 6 are admitted FREE.

City on I-70 at the Lexington-Mayview Exit (#41), then north to N. Outer Rd.,
then east, then north.
All three events will pay $2,000 to win and a minimum $250 to start. Drivers at
the Bloomfield and Memphis races will earn points in the Central Region while
the Odessa show will award Southern Region points.
