OTTUMWA, IA (April 20) - The first annual Rock-N-Roll Raceway and Dairy Bar race car show was held on Saturday afternoon (April 18) with Mother Nature not giving the best weather drivers still weathered the clouds and rain showers to show off there nice rides for the up coming 2009 race season. The Rock-N-Roll Raceway Go-Kart track saw several drivers try there luck on the road course with a lot of laughs and then the rain showers making the surface very slick forcing the track drying crew to pull the karts off. The drivers in attendance were B-modified drivers Bill Young #21Y of Ottumwa, Jason McDaniel #85 of Eldon, Shannon Sample #74 of Milton. The stock cars on display were Nathan Wood #52 of Keswick and Shane Weller #20DUB of Agency. The hobby stock division saw Danny Thrasher #84 of Agency and Mark Moore #2M of Ottumwa. The four cylinder class saw a new look for Larry Hopkins #11 in a Dodge Neon with Richard Petty paint scheme. The go-karts on display was Tyler Heckart #42 of Ottumwa and Tyson Paris #4T of Ottumwa.
