COLUMBUS JUNCTION, IA July 14) - Mother Nature rained on CJ Speedway again on Friday, July 10 forcing cancelation of the evenings activities. The Mid Season Championships have been rescheduled for Friday, July 17 with features starting straight up by points. Points will be awarded for the top 3 finishers in heat races. There will be lots of activities for the Lil’ Racer Car Club kids. Gunny the Clown will be at the LRC booth from 5:30-8:30 wrapping balloons, face painting and working his magic. Clayton and Jeff Jenson (Car #40J) will be sponsoring a candy dash on the grassey area in front of the grandstand and there will be gunny sack races on the front stretch with $15.00 going to the winner. All five classes of racing will be in action.
