This week at CJ Speedway, July 24 will be a fun-filled evening for all the
kids-no matter how old you are OR feel!
For the little ones we are having a coloring contest! Color, draw, or paint
a picture of “ Why you like to come to CJ Speedway” and bring it to the
booth. We will display it under the grandstand for all your friends to see.
We will also draw for a special prize from those kids who return to us a
colored picture.
On the track we are hosting CJ Speedway Bike Races! We will have
short-distance racing, mainly down the front stretch for the little ones,
and longer ones for the middle-aged kids. We will also have a CHALLENGE race
for those kids who think they have mastered their bicycle skills. This race
will involve their parents’ participation.
All kids will line up even with the flag tower on their bikes. They will do
one complete lap. Upon returning to the finish line, the parent will climb
aboard and ride their child’s SAME bike for a lap.
What will the winner of this race receive? An overnight stay in the Baymont
Inn of Iowa City for 4 people! Come out and enjoy the fun!
Bring your bikes!
