CJ Speedway hopes third times is charm for season opener

COLUMBUS JUNCTION, IA (May 10) - Area racetracks have been battling Mother Nature this year to get their programs in and CJ Speedway is no exception.. For the third week rain forced cancellation of the Season Opener at the Louisa County track.

With hopes of forcasted rain for “early” in the week CJ Speedway will holds its season opener on Friday, May 14 with Modifieds, IMCA Stock Cars, Hobby Stocks, Mod Lites and 4 Cylinders in action.

Gates open at 5:30 with racing at 7:30 The Lil Race Car Club will start off the season with Mod Lite driver autographs at 6:30 p.m. 

Kids can sign up  to win raffles prizes and participate in the gunny sack races.

We have trophies for 1st place and ribbons for 2nd place!  CJ Lil Race Car Club is open to kids 0-14.
