Heading into the second night of racing the points races for the Papa Johns Cup Championship are naturally very close.

In the Coors Light Modifieds, feature winner Larry Clausen holds a one point edge over Chad Willett with Tim Plummer, Arlo Becker and Rookie of the Year contender Tony Olson in the top five of the points chase.

The Budweiser Mid-Am Sportsmen division shows Dave McCalla at the top of the chart with Mel Schappert and Doug Simon right behind. Rookie of the Year contenders Travis Thompson and Scotty Welsh fill out the top of the list.

Moving to the quarter-mile, Kurt Bohnsack leads the pack in the Barron Motor Supply IMCA Stock Cars. Greg Hentrich, Brian Franks, Bob Ahrendsen, and Randy Filling staked a claim in the top five as well by virtue of their finishes in last weeks feature event.

The point leader in the Barron Motor Supply IMCA Hobby Stocks is Gary Pfantz after he out-dueled Roland Bohnsack in the feature. Bohnsack sits second in the points followed by Dennis Klinsky, Dwayne Herb, and Ed O’Brien.

In IMCA SportMods, Ryan Luedtke notched his first feature win of the season and rides the top of the point chart. Scott Grady sits second in the points with Arnie Reif, Aric Becker, and Jamie Huff next in line.

Finally, the Sunline Hornets division is led by Derek Parrott, Friday’s feature winner. Jim Hanson holds down the second spot with Brad Chandler, Jason Freeman, and Cory Van Der Wal rounding out the top five in points.
