Inaugural Chassis Challenge special opens season
at Buena Vista Raceway
Alta, Ia (March 21, 2006) Buena Vista Raceway starts the new race season
Friday, March 31, with the Frost Buster Chassis Challenge Special.
Sixteen chassis manufacturers are cosponsors of the inaugural event, which
headlines IMCA sanctioned Modifieds, Stock Cars and Hobby Stocks.
Winner of the Modified main event earns $1,000 and a spot on the ballot for the
special All-Star Invitational race during the IMCA Speedway Motors Super
Nationals. Stocks race for $500 to win and Hobbies $300 to win.
National, regional and Smileyıs Racing Products state points will be awarded.
Pit gates open at 5 p.m., hot laps are at 6:45 p.m. and racing starts at 7:30
p.m. sharp.
All three features will start 24 cars, with a minimum of $100 paid to make the
Modified grid.
Tow money for non-qualifiers is $60 for Modifieds, $50 for Stocks and $40 for
the Hobbies.
