IMCA Deery, Stock Car drivers chase Intercomp
contingencies
Minneapolis, Minn. (April 3, 2006) Intercomp will reward the accomplishments
of drivers in IMCA's Deery Brothers Summer Series and in both regions for Stock
Cars again this season.
The Minneapolis company, manufacturer of the official scales for IMCA, will
award $100 product certificates to a designated place finisher at each of the 19
events in the Late Model tour, now scheduled to open Friday night, April 7 at
Lee County Speedway in Donnellson, Iowa.
Updated CD-ROM Race Car Management software packages go to the champion, fifth
and 10th place finishers in the Jet Racing Northern Region and Destroyer Chassis
Southern Region for IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars.
As with the previous two years of the contingency program, drivers in both
classes must display two Intercomp decals on their race car to be eligible.
Intercomp manufactures high-performance products for use in the shop or at the
track including alignment equipment, tire and shock gauges and lap timers. More
information about those products is available by calling 800 328-3336 or at the
www.intercomp-rac-ing.com
website.
"With the change in the bonus structure used to figure final points, there is a
good chance the top 10 in each Stock Car region could be considerably different
than in years past," IMCA Marketing Director Kevin Yoder commented. "For this
reason, Intercomp will continue to award their software packages in 2006 with an
eye on changing it up in 2007."
