Axle Exchange signs on as All-Star Invitational sponsor
DES MOINES, IA (Aug. 1, 2006) – Axle Exchange of Des Moines, manufacturer of the
Fast Shafts line of drive shafts, has signed on as title sponsor of the special
10 car, 10 lap race for Modifieds at the IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals.
The Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational will be held Friday, Sept. 8 at Boone
Speedway. The starting field, elected by race fans in voting that ran from May 1
through July 31, was announced today by IMCA and will feature drivers from seven
different states.
“Axle Exchange has regularly increased its support of IMCA drivers since
becoming a sponsor in 2003 and their support of this event is a logical step in
our partnership,” said Kevin Yoder, director of marketing for the sanctioning
organization. “They have been a tremendous asset on Manufacturers’ Row for many
drivers during Super Nationals the last couple years and have stepped up to be
an even bigger part of one of our marquee races during the week.”
New to the national decal program for IMCA’s Stock Car division this season,
Axle Exchange will also award $50 product certificates to all track champions in
the Modified, Northern and Southern SportMod, Stock and Hobby Stock classes in
2006.
Each driver in the 2006 and 2007 Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational will receive
drive shafts from Axle Exchange.
