Track champions in five IMCA divisions earn Axle Exchange
contingency awards
DES MOINES, Iowa (May 14) – Nearly 300 IMCA drivers winning local track titles
this season receive shares of $14,750 in contingency awards from Axle Exchange.
The Des Moines company manufactures the Fast Shaft brand of drive shafts and
will give $50 product certificates to track champions in the Modified, Karl
Chevrolet Northern SportMod, Jeff’s Performance Southern SportMod, and IMCA
Sunoco Stock Car and Hobby Stock divisions.
Certificates will be mailed after point standings become official in October.
Axle Exchange is part of the national decal program for Stock Cars and drivers
in the class must display two Fast Shafts decals on their race car to be
eligible.
The company’s product line includes a variety of steel or aluminum drive shafts,
lightweight center sections and Ford 9” rear ends. Axle Exchange also repairs
drive shafts.
More information is available by calling 800 622-6617 or through the
www.fastshafts.com website.
“Fast Shafts has grown into one of the more recognizable brands within IMCA
racing and as their exposure has increased, so has their IMCA customer base,”
said Kevin Yoder, director of marketing for IMCA. “We are honored to have them
actively involved with so many divisions, and their partnership with the
All-Star Invitational at Super Nationals rounds out a great program.”
