JR renews IMCA engine claim, exchange contingency awards ANKENY, Iowa (Mar 27) – IMCA drivers accepting engine claims or exchanges receive contingency awards again this season from JR Motorsports. Modified drivers get $400 discounts on the purchase of a new short block or complete engine freshen for each claim. SportMod and Stock Car drivers get $300 discounts and Hobby Stock drivers receive $200 discounts. Hobby Stock drivers are also required to display two JR Motorsports decals on their race car to be eligible. Certificates will be mailed from the IMCA home office at the end of each month. The Ankeny, Iowa, engine and chassis component manufacturer also returns as IMCA’s official crate engine rebuilder for the Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMod class. “The engine claim continues to be a central topic of concern for IMCA racers, despite the addition of the exchange option implemented in the Modified and Stock Car divisions,” IMCA Marketing Director Kevin Yoder said. “Whether building a new motor or freshening an exchanged one, JR Motorsports is the place to go for either circumstance, and their support of claimed drivers through product certificates helps soften the blow of losing a motor.” Information about products and services from JR Motorsports is available at the www.jrmotorsports.com website or by calling 888 771-5574. |
