Mitchell Machine renews contingency award program for IMCA
Modified, Stock Car drivers
WEBSTER CITY, IA (Feb. 25, 2009) – Mitchell Machine has renewed its
contingency award program for competitors in the IMCA Modified and IMCA
Sunoco Stock Car divisions.
The Webster City, Iowa, manufacturer will give transmissions or product
certificates to drivers in both classes again this season.
Top eligible finishers, based on final point standings, in all five regions
for the Modifieds and in both regions for the Stock Cars earn new
transmissions. Drivers finishing second and third in regional point races in
the two divisions receive $100 product certificates.
Drivers who compete with Mitchell Machine-made transmission, return a
sign-up form to the IMCA home office by Aug. 1 and display two Mitchell
Machine decals on their race car are eligible.

Mitchell became an IMCA sponsor in 2007, giving awards to Stock Car drivers,
and added the Modified prizes last year.
"The Mitchell Bullet transmission is one of four aftermarket pieces that are
approved for sanctioned Modified competition, and as it gains exposure it is
becoming recognized as a real quality option,”
IMCA Marketing Director Kevin Yoder said. “I encourage drivers looking for
dependable and affordable transmissions to talk to Ted Mitchell."
