    JR Motorsports adds heat race winner decals to IMCA 
    contingency program 
     
    ANKENY, Iowa (Feb. 26) – JR Motorsports adds one of IMCA’s most visible and 
    most popular awards to its contingency pro gram for 2009. 
     
    The Ankeny, Iowa, engine and chassis component manufacturer will provide 
    heat race winner decals, to be given in all sanc tioned divisions. 
     
    "We are pleased to be able to partner with JR Motorsports in recognizing 
    heat race winners in all IMCA divisions this year, not only during the 
    season but at Super Nationals as well,” said IMCA Marketing Director Kevin 
    Yoder. “JR stands with us in recognizing that this can be a big 
    accomplishment in a racer’s season and deserves the accolades that come with 
    crossing the finish line in first place, no matter what the event." 
     
    Drivers accepting engine claims or engine exchanges also get JR awards. 
     
    Modified drivers receive $400 off the purchase of a new short block or 
    complete engine freshen for each claim or ex change. SportMod and Stock Car 
    drivers get $300 discounts and Hobby Stock drivers receive $200 discounts. 
    Southern SportMod and Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMod drivers are required 
    to display two JR Motorsports decals on their race car to be eligible. Hobby 
    Stock drivers must also compete with two JR decals. 
     
    Certificates will be mailed from the IMCA home office at the end of each 
    month.
