EAGLE, Neb. (March 12) - Both IMCA Modifieds and IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks are on the ticket for Eagle Raceway's Ice Breaker Challenge special on Saturday, March 28. Modifieds race for $1,000 to win and a minimum of $125 to start their 2009 Fast Shafts All-Star ballot qualifying feature. Hobbies race for $200 to win and a minimum of $40 to start. National, regional and Smiley's Racing Products State points will be awarded in both divisions. Entry fee for the Modifieds is $20 by March 21 or $40 after that date. There is no entry fee for Hobby Stocks. Pit gates will open at 11 a.m., hot laps are at 4 p.m. and racing starts at 5 p.m. Pit passes are $25. Grandstand admission is $15 for adults, $7 for kids ages 6-12 and five and under get in free. The front gate opens at 3:30 p.m. An open practice session will be held from 7-10 p.m. Friday, March 27, with a chili feed following in the pit area. Pit passes are $10.
