Big Dog back as title sponsor of Dakota Classic Tour

NORTH PLATTE, Neb. (March 21) – The Big Dog Chassis flag flies over the Dakota Classic Modified Tour for a third consecutive season in 2009.

The North Platte, Neb., chassis manufacturer and high performance parts retailer will again furnish part of a $2,000 fund to be paid to drivers finishing in top 10 point standings in the popular tour for IMCA Modifieds, which runs from July 12-17 at tracks in North Dakota and Saskatchewan.

Opening night for the 20th annual tour is July 12 at Nodak Speedway.
Estevan Motor Speedway hosts July 13 and 14 races before events July
15 at Williston Basin Speedway, July 16 at Southwest Speedway in Dickinson and July 17 at Dacotah Speedway in Mandan.

All six features pay $1,200 to win and a minimum of $200 to start.
National, home region and Smiley’s Racing Products state points will also be awarded. Drivers will be required to display two Big Dog Chassis decals on their race car to be eligible for any shares of the point fund or contingency awards.

Each winner and the overall tour champion become candidates for the 2010 Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot.
