Performance Bodies renews top-paying contingency program for IMCA drivers

CEDAR FALLS, Iowa (March 27) – Performance Bodies continues the top- paying contingency program for IMCA drivers again this season, giving awards in six sanctioned divisions.

The Cedar Falls, Iowa, race car body manufacturer and automotive parts retailer will give as much as $19,000 in products or product certificates based on final 2009 national, regional, special series or rookie point standings.

Performance Bodies returns to national decal programs for both Modifieds and Hobby Stocks, and as primary sponsor of national Stock Car, Hobby Stock and SportMod rookie of the year awards.

"Performance Bodies provides as much in product and contingency awards as anyone we are partnering with to support our racers,” said Kevin Yoder, marketing director for IMCA. “Despite an ever- challenging economic climate, their program remains unchanged and drivers will receive free products at the end of the season that will help keep their racing as cost-effective as possible. We are excited about entering our 27th season working with the team at Performance Bodies, the second longest tenured IMCA sponsor.”

Top five drivers in final point standings and the top three rookies in each of the five Modified regions, as well as top five finishers in national standings for both SportMod divisions receive a spruce-up special package, which includes two doors and two quarter panels and is valued at $229, or a $100 product certificate.

Rookies of the year in each SportMod division get the spruce-up special package.

Top 10 drivers in the Deery Brothers Summer Series for Late Models get nosepiece and headlight decal kits valued at $150.

The top 10 in both Stock Car regions, the top 10 in both Hobby Stock regions and national rookies of the year in both divisions score nosepiece and headlight decal kits worth $135 each.

All Modified and Hobby Stock drivers are required to display two Performance Bodies decals on their race car to be eligible for any contingency prize.
