Top IMCA Modified chassis manufacturers, drivers will display
unique awards from Dirthead.com
BATESVILLE, Ark. (April 1) – Wall graphics from Dirthead.com will help
Modified chassis manufacturers and their IMCA customers show off their 2009
success.
The new IMCA sponsor, located in Batesville, Ark., is set to award 2x4-foot
custom wall graphics to each of the five regional chassis manufacturers of
the year, and to every driver competing in a chassis built by the
manufacturer of the year in their respective region.
A point system will be used in determining regional and an overall
manufacturer of the year; regional winners get 3D quality graphics, made
from a patented re-stick fabric material, of the car of each driver
finishing in official top 10 point standings for a designated region.
“This is a type of product that has been available in other venues.
We wanted to bring it into the dirt market and allow more racers promote
themselves and their teams,” said Kirk Shaw, who launched the business at
last December’s PRI show. “Response at trade shows has been very good.”
Dirthead wall graphics are not decals or posters, Shaw emphasized, and can
be applied countless times with no damage to the wall. They are sold in
three sizes (1x2-foot, 2x4 foot and 3x6-foot) and can be ordered for a
growing number of drivers via the www.dirthead.com website.
Drivers and fans can also email photos to have custom wall graphics made.
“These are really a great marketing tool,” said Shaw, also the owner of
Dirthead’s sister company New Vision Graphics. “We can reach both sides of
the fence, the drivers and the fans. The sky is the limit.”
More information about Dirthead wall graphics is also available at the
company website.
"As we put together the details regarding our new Manufacturers’ Cup
program, we were looking for someone who saw the value in the idea to join
with us in launching the program,” IMCA Marketing Director Kevin Yoder said.
“DirtHead is the perfect partner for this endeavor. Their product is great
incentive for builders and racers and will really top off a great season for
them in October. We couldn't be happier to debut an exciting new marketing
concept with an exciting new company in DirtHead.com.”
