Dominator delivering new awards for Deery Series drivers
LYONS, Ohio (April 19) – Late Model drivers following the Deery Brothers
Summer Series earn contingency awards this season from new IMCA sponsor
Dominator Race Products.
Product certificates worth $50 go to the hard luck driver at each event,
while the 11th through 20th place finishers in final tour point standings
will each receive $100 product certificates.
Two Dominator Race Products decals must be displayed for drivers to be
eligible for the contingencies.
The Lyons, Ohio, company manufactures noses and flares, roofs, hoodscoops
and other plastic products for Dirt Late Model use.
Brothers Bentley and Todd Shaw both worked at a Corvette shop before
starting the business out of a garage in 1992.
“One thing just led to another,” Bentley said in describing the gradual
expansion of Dominator’s product line. “I raced a late model for 14 years so
I’ve been in the pits and out in the field.”
Todd handles the design side and Bentley is in charge of sales and
marketing. Dominator products are now retailed by distributors in 32 states
and Canada.
Information about those products is available by calling 419 923-6970 and at
the www.dominatorraceproducts.com website.
Hard luck awards will be mailed from the IMCA office throughout the series
season. Product certificates awarded based on overall tour standings will be
sent in September.
"The Dominator product line has undergone some changes recently to conform
to the IMCA rules package, and as a result they make a variety of products
that our Late Model members will really like,”
said IMCA Marketing Director Kevin Yoder. “Working with the folks at
Dominator has been a very easy process and we think our drivers will enjoy
the experience as well now that they're given the opportunity."
