MENA, Ark. (February 18) – Brodix will recognize the accomplishments of national IMCA Late Model and Deery Brothers Summer Series champions and rookies of the year again in 2010. Each driver will receive cylinder head sets from the Mena, Ark., manufacturer. "Four different drivers won cylinder heads from Brodix last year and that program will continue to give back this season,” said IMCA Marketing Director Kevin Yoder. “As our Late Model division grows and the Deery Brothers Summer Series continues to increase in popularity, the potential for more drivers to benefit from this program also increases." All competitors in the division and series are required to display two Brodix decals on their race cars. No change has been made from previous seasons in determining eligibility for rookie of the year honors, as drivers cannot have competed in more than four sanctioned events during their IMCA weekly or special series career. The 2010 point season for Late Models begins Friday, April 23 and continues through Sunday, Aug. 29. There are 16 race dates scheduled for the Deery Series, which opens Saturday, April 10 with the Slocum 50 at 34 Raceway in West Burlington, Iowa. Information about Brodix-made cylinder heads is available at the www.brodix.com website or by calling 479 394-1075.
