RISING CITY, Neb. (April 5) – IMCA Modifieds top race cards at Ice Breaker specials this weekend at Butler County Motorplex and at Eagle Raceway. The Friday, April 9 Ice Breaker Prelude at Rising City pays $1,500 to win while first place in the Saturday, April 10 Ice Breaker Challenge at Eagle is good for $2,000. Both events are 2010 Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot qualifiers. Mach-1 Sport Compacts race for $200 to win at Butler County while IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks vie for $300 to win at Eagle. IMCA national, regional and state points will be awarded both nights. Grandstand admission at Butler County is $12 for adults, $6 for kids 6-12 and five and under are free. Gates open at 5:30 p.m., hot laps are at 7 p.m. and racing will start at 8 p.m. Admission at Eagle is $15 for adults, $7 for kids 6-12 and free for youngsters five and under. Gates open at 5 p.m., hot laps are at 5:30 p.m. and racing begins at 6:30 p.m. Pit passes are $25 each night.
