LAKE ZURICH, Ill. (June
13) – Prizes for top Modified rookies are new this season in Quarter
Master’s IMCA contingency award program. The national rookie of the
year will receive a bellhousing kit from the Lake Zurich, Ill., clutch and
driveline component manufacturer. The top two rookies in each of the five
Modified regions get $100 product certificates. Quarter Master has also
renewed awards for IMCA Late Model and Deery Brothers Summer Series
competitors. Both the
national Late Model champion and the series champion receive clutchless
bellhousing
kits. Drivers finishing second through 10th in the national and
series point standings get $100 product certificates. All drivers must display
two Quarter Master decals on their race car to be eligible; Modified drivers
must also complete the rookie application form. “Quarter Master took the
budget that had previously gone to Crate Models and rolled that over to add
more Modified awards this season,” IMCA Marketing Director Kevin Yoder
explained. “The additions have really enhanced our rookie Modified program
and provided excellent incentives for first-year competitors. Quarter Master
continues to be a valuable resource for IMCA racers." Information about Quarter
Master-manufactured products is available at the
