BEATRICE, Neb. (Oct. 4) – Both IMCA Modified features pay $1,500 to win in the season-ending RevHoney Energy October Fest special this Friday and Saturday, Oct. 8-9 at Beatrice Speedway. Each main event is a qualifier for the 2011 Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot and pays a minimum of $100 to start. Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMods race for $500 to win and IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks for $300 to win each night. Friday’s Mach-1 Sport Compact feature pays $150 to the winner. An open practice session for all classes will be held from 6-9 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 7. Gates open at 4 p.m., hot laps are at 6 p.m. and racing starts at 7 p.m. on Friday. Gates open at 3 p.m. on Saturday, with hot laps at 5:30 p.m. and racing at 6:30 p.m. Pit passes are $25 each day. Grandstand admission is $14 for adults and $5 for kids 10 and under.
