Chase Signs becomes official decal company of IMCA AMES, Iowa (March 23) – Chase Signs takes a very visible role in its first season as an IMCA sponsor. Newly-designated as the official decal company of IMCA, Chase will provide all presentation checks given to feature winners in the JR Motorsports Hawkeye Dirt Tour for Modifieds, as well as qualifying and main event winners at the IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals fueled by Cenex. Rear filler panel wraps go to each of the 20 drivers elected to the Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational. National champions in the IMCA Modified, IMCA Late Model and Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMod divisions all receive race car wraps and regional Modified champions get certificates good for 50 percent off the cost of a wrap. “This partnership stems from our location in Ames and the fact that the racers we deal with day-to-day are predominantly IMCA. This is our way of giving something back to them,” explained Chase owner Lee Havlik. “It makes sense for us to be involved with IMCA because we know they’ll still be around 10 or 20 years from now, as opposed to some of the special series and other sanctioning bodies that come and go.” Opened in 2004, Chase Signs moved to a bigger facility – tripling its space in the process – in January of 2010. In addition to race car and trailer, commercial and industrial graphics, the company also specializes in decals, lettering, banners, signage and promotional magnets. “I’ve always enjoyed the graphics end of the business,” said Havlik, noting how that changed with the evolution of technology. “It seems like we went from cutting vinyl in layers to doing wraps almost overnight.” While he did not race himself, Havlik has a close connection to the sport few others can boast: Brothers Jeff and Randy are both Super Nationals champions, Jeff in 1989 in a Stock Car and Randy in 2009 in a Modified. “This program is something we can be involved with for the long term,” he said. “I’m confident it will work out well for us, for IMCA and for the drivers.” More information about Chase Signs products and services is available by calling 515 292-6466 and at the www.chasedecals.com website. "We have worked with Chase for a number of years now and had a mutual desire to finally put an official partnership together,” IMCA Marketing Director Kevin Yoder said. “Chase makes great products and they are a real pleasure to work with. We are excited to work on a number of big projects together."
