ORLAND PARK, ILL. (October 9, 2006) - Young second generation Dirt Late Model
pilot Frank Heckenast, Jr. is one of the select few drivers across the country
to be accepted recently to Ron Sutton’s Winner’s Circle (RSWC)! Ron Sutton's
Winner's Circle Race Team and Driver Career Development Program just finished
conducting their interviews for their third annual talent search and Frankie is
one of only 24 drivers accepted to their Shoot-Out. 550 drivers submitted their
resumes to the program, which tries to find the next young guns with the talent
and skill to go all the way to professional racing careers in NASCAR, IRL, and
Champ Car.
RSWC is located in Sacramento, California and Frankie will be making the trip
out west for the Shoot-Out on October 13-15. Each of the 24 drivers selected
after the interview process, including Frankie, will participate in a two-hour
class before racing five 20-lap sessions on the track. Ron Sutton will be
coaching each driver on lines and his twenty points of driving. The winners from
the Shoot-Out will be plugged into the race series and training program that
makes sense for their career direction and stage of development. If chosen as a
winner, Frank, Jr. would be plugged into the NASCAR Late Model Stock Car
program. More information concerning the Ron Sutton’s Winner’s Circle can be
found online at www.winners-circle-racing.com.
“It is an honor to be accepted to Ron Sutton’s program and hopefully I can pass
their Shoot-Out and enroll in their NASCAR program,” commented the young Orland
Park, Illinois native today. “I have already had my resume approved, my
references checked, and I have passed a phone interview just to be admitted into
their Shoot-Out. They do extensive research on each applicant, so that makes you
feel even better when you are accepted.”
